Today we added three more meanings to our understanding: “hubba hubba”, “hunky dory”, and “humble pie” (thanks, page 127!)

We read about Incantation as a style of oral poetry (no witchcraft! Promise!). Both poems we read had indigenous roots.

We wrote Incantation poetry about ourselves and will be sharing our “I can” or “I will” with Mrs. Erasmus tomorrow!
