We read some poetry in honor of Black History Month: Langston Hughes (“Mother to Son” and “I, Too”) and Margaret Walker (“For My People”).
We began A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Full disclosure: it’s nearly impossible to find a version of the play that’s not incredibly sexy. My apologies in advance. I’m not all the way through this one: I found one that looks AMAZING by the British National Theatre but…we can talk about it.
